Bis-sulfone-PEG4-Tetrazine enables site-specific incorporation of a tetrazine moiety onto antibodies to form well defined conjugates. Unlike conjugates prepared through conventional, maleimide-based labeling chemistry that leaves disulfide bridges in “open form” and produces a heterogeneous mixture labeled species with DAR 1-8, conjugates prepared with bis-sulfone reagents benefits from reduced heterogeneity and enhanced stability.
